the two tone w/gray bottom is what designates it as a GTX and being 4wd turbo (at least in the north american market)

I tend to agree. Sometimes monochrome even looks bad to my eye. All white, for instance, isn't all that flattering imho. (Blasphemy! That's the GTAe!) Somehow the contrasting colors enhance the 323's lines. However, two-tone is also so very 80's and yet we're all about bringing these cars into the future...

Well, I'm considering a somewhat middle approach with my black GTX. The top may be done in gloss with the bottom in flat. Some rally-inspired rims in anthracite should finish it off. I hope this produces a menacing look. I've got GTAe bumpers front/rear and also USDM side skirts, btw. I wonder who else around here has that combo.

There are a few ways to make this swap work... Larry(LN323) origonally did it on his old LX by using L brackets drilled and bolted to the body and the stock Isuzu bumper.. When he sold his LX I got that bumper and ended up redoing the mounting since it was using only 2 of the stock 3 bolt locations on the body.. I ended up having 2 of the bolts rip threw the body when I was spiritedly driving on a rather ruff road.. I took the stock 323 bumper mounts and cut them off the bumper, then welded them to the isuzu bumper....

just contributing to the thread. heres my bumper on my car. i think side skirts of some sort and a rear bumper would really set it off.

does anyone know if the rear i-mark bumper works too...? hmmm...

i put a i-mark rear on also, but it looked to bulky for my liking, so i trimed the bottom off it, also iirc i had to cut the tire arc area on the bumper, i dont have pics of it either.

also i would paint the front bumper opening/mouth black.
