Looks great -like right out of a time capsule. I'm thinking lowered suspension and wider, low profile tires on 15" wheels would be in order.Last edited by kaputt 323; 02-23-2011, 03:48 AM.

just start with some lowering springs and rims and you will see a huge change. Just remember that your car is a cheap, boxy, 80's, economy car, if u put on some big round bumpers, wings and carbon fiber splitters its gonna look funny no matter how much u spend.
Its better to have clean, factory options and have people who see you driving say,"hey, look at that old car" then "hey, look at that dumb ricer""See that car, in the 80's that car was deadly." Random man to his son while passing the GTX in a parking lot

thanks guys, ya i may just do that. hop on some lowering springs to give it an inch or 2 drop then probably save up for some old school enkei 92 mesh. ive seen them around going for 3-500 dollars with tires. I know those 323 gtx rear spoilers are hard to find but I think they look great, is there an alternative to something like it or even a small rear duck tail/lip?

Keep a watch on ebay for the wings. I've sold about 3 sets that I keep finding in the JY, over the years.
If you decide to start off with lowering springs and wheels / tires, then you'll soon find yourself sourcing all the poly bushings, then rear disks, then larger brakes / better pads. Before you know it, you'll be sourcing an engine swap.
After that's done, and you're getting better at digging up info, you'll find that you can start adapting other bits from other cars to make it look nicer: Isuzu bumper, VW Golf wheel flares, etc. Don't forget to keep an eye on eBay.de for bumpers and lights, if you can afford it.
