Hi guys, well I have been searching and searching... and even made a thread about body kits and bumpers. got some responses and understand that the Isuzu Imark bumper fits. Well today I decided to go to pick n pull to see if I can find a passenger side mirror for 323 and from my shock found a 1988 Imark coupe. The car was almost complete in and out, even had the rear aero lip only thing missing was a few engine parts. bumper cost me 107 dollars, kinda surprised of the cost but they charged me for signal lights and bumper support/brace. here are some pics of it and an Idea of how its going to look.

Dum-dum-DUMMMM!
Now you've done it, next thing you know, you'll be swapping motors; you'll have to in order to fit the FMIC behind the bumper.
It's the next logical step.
I await your worklog, your pics taken at 0300hrs, the empty cans of beer, the greasy handprints on the fender. Oh yes, there's no turning back now.
muhahahahaha!

Get some good pictures on how you mount it... I never bothered to take any pictures of mine.. I ended up taking the stock mounts and cutting them off the stock bumper support.. I then bolted them up to the body and test fit the bumper.. did a little trimming and stuff to get it sitting right.. After that I tack welded the mounts to the stock Isuzu bumper... I then pulled it off and welded it all together... After that I bent up some little brackets to help pull in and make the sides of the bumper stiff... All though I haven't had the side brackets bolted up for a long time..
What ever you do make sure it uses all 3 bolt holes where the stock bumper mounts to the frame... I had made some custom brackets the first go around with the isuzu bumper on my 2wd car that only used 2 bolts... Not good, the weight of the bumper ripped my top bolts threw the body after driving on a ruff road...

well after waking up and seeing how actually sunny it is here in the bay area I decided to continue on the bumper, well not with some good breakfast of course lol. anywho, finished up painting the bumper black and with clear coat I then took out that oem bumper and reiforcemnt/frame off. taking out the signal light was a PIA for some reason, I had to loosen up the headlight to get the light connector out Also took of the oem grill for a little cleaning here and there. easy part is done now for the reinforcement/frame modification make a perfect fit. here are pics and a sneak preview on how it ( hopefully ) will look
