Cork Sport used to sell a modified pass side mount. The tranny is going to tilt the motor 16* to the front so the B6T mount will need an adapter plate from what I understand. The fender mount will need to drilled to allow fitment also. Get with Greg and have him shoot you a pic of his Cork Sport mount. Both of the tranny mounts should work with no issues.

Just for those that do not know, DO NOT USE Platinum Spark plugs on a B6T or any turbocharged engine. Reason being is the platinum will melt under combustion chamber temperatures and pressure. They will start throwing debre through your engine. I saw that someone had posted that they installed them a page back or so. Save yourself dude! Change them to V-Powers or Irridiums at best.

Time for a new Rack and Pinion on the other GTX...what a biotch on this car... I said wth and dropped the mill out...now lots of breathing room and a chance to clean up the bay. Rebushed lowers and new ball joints, remaned axles x 4, big brake swap with booster and m/c, Illumina/Dirtras and GC's X 4, new wheel bearings and seals x 4, rebushed rear laterals and trailing arms, Miata/Galant brake swap on the rears and some other stuff I am not remembering. Lots of work to spread out here between the important stuff. Then redo the A/C before it gets hot down here.

Was able to do a bit of walking today, so I went out and test fit my new to me cusco front strut brace. Needs a good cleaning and repaint but its a cool ol'jdm piece.

I nuked my Zetec after the engine ran away with platinum plugs.

Long story... don't use platinum on boost period. If you love your motor throw copper ones in lol.

I got a cheap, used, Harbor Freight powder coating gun and made my own oven from sheet metal, rivets, and heat guns. I powdercoated my front strut bar and it turned out pretty good except for where I got too much powder on one small area. Give it a go.

Ok, no problem. Jump up your boost and go out and pound on your car or a week and see how its running at the end. Please, Do it.

NGK, Motorcraft, Champion, doesn't really matter. Denso and the others make good plugs, such as platinums, but they are not designed to properly work in a turbocharged environment. Denso Platinums, you would not put in a 2.3 MZR, same reason or really any other engine. Iridiums are the obvious choice for a Turbocharged engine If your looking for a bump up. Platinum runs a bit too hot for a turbocharged car, and having the combustion chambers as hot and high as it gets, will eventually melt the platinum. Just not a smart choice for this environment.

avoiding the question like you have makes you sound at fault for potentially using some offbrand BS plugs...... just my 2 cents.

short of that.... platinum's melting point "Melting point: 3,215°F (1,768°C)" If you are seeing those temps you've got a ****ing vacuum kiln for an engine.

but i will agree iridium's are the way to go.

Honestly, I learn from others mistakes, I see them on a regular basis through work. I Will rephrase this way, that Platinum spark plugs are available for turbocharged engines, even some manufacturers use them, but whats the difference? Those are usually used in low stock boost conigurations, and not a higher modified performance car. That's not to say platinum plugs for higher performance and boosted engines do not exist, But that with how many failures there have been, and that ive seen, either a drop in performance or some internal damage, I will stand behind the fact that I will never recommend or use them in a purpose built turbocharged car.
