Well an update on my BF. Thursday I was driving home from work and all of a sudden I had 11.5 volts of power. So yes my alt went out. Friday I pulled it out and went to autozone to get it tested and buy another one. It was dead. So I bought the 92 mercury capri alternator since it is a 70 amp alt. I put it in on sat and so far the car has not overheated with the a/c on. I think that I got it all fixed

I didnt get the heating problem fixed. I think that I am going to take the thermostat out and see how it runs without it. The GT my friend bought runs very cool. He hasnt done anything to the cooling system. He thinks that the car has no thermostat. I am going to try it and see what happens

Yeah, Mine runs quite cool. I do however have a 16" slim line fan, and fresh coolant, etc. Thats weird that you would be getting warm, but try the thermostat first. That will tell you if you actually have problems, or a tired thermostat. Are you loosing any coolant at all?

                            Today, I:
Changed Plug wires (Magnecore 8.5mm), Changed sparkplugs, Changed Oil, Tightned Intake hoses/ Checked turbo for shaft play and free spinning. Got two new tires. I should be ready for the trip to XXX with no problems.

I didnt think about that. I am going to bypass that this weekend. I think that I have it narrowed down to the condensor fan. I have an aftermarket but its made to suck and not push the air. I dont feel any air going through the condensor on the pass side. I also need help with my digital cluster. I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW!!! The cluster is going out on me and I was wondering if anyone had any luck with fixing them. I am going to look at it tomorrow and see if I can fix it at work or at least diagnose the problem with it.

sounds like u having alot of problems with that cluster. If u want i think i still have a my sohc clucter (no tach) so i can lend/give it to u untill u get the right cluster u want. Let me know so i can look for it.
