    PIC'S we all want to see your swap!!!! Wish I Had The Time And Money To Do It! i have a jdm gtx tranny and spare bp but just dont know where to start?????

    What did you do for shifter cables? and is there any pointers you can give us? thanks bro!!

          Thanks, it's actuly the same corksport IC that I had on my EGT. I did have to trim out 2 holes for the piping in the rad support and notch 1 other spot a bit but it fit nicely. As for shifter cables I used 2nd gen GTX/ pro 4wd cables. Then I measured and cut off the non adjustable ends on the shifter side, took a die, threaded the end and screwed on the stock adjustable end link bushing. This let's u use the stock shifter, I tried a pro 4wd one and it seemed like slot of work.

              I keep going back and forth on a bpt swap... before I'd decided i wanted to remain in PGT... but now i think i'm gonna get a different car and run P class when i get there. and just run the gtx balls out in Open class Rally-x but stick with the B6T and show that if handled correctly the transmission can take 250hp.

                how much power would the 1.8 jdm gtx tranny handle?

                  that all depends how you drive it, usally i have heard that it can handle 250hp, i guess ill have to test when i get my car back

                      the bpt tranny isn't a whole lot stronger really... 300 is about all the bpt tranny can take.

                          they did.... it's made by xtrac. the last one i saw for sale went for 20,000 british pounds. it's a 6sp too.

                              yeah.... exactly... it's full race transmission and incredibly hard to find. dog gears, etc.
