so i was at autoX today getting some good times till i thought something felt a little funny. checked the car out and the front passenger wheel bearing is going bad again. so i limped the car home and now have another project for the week.

Actually from yesterday...

Received the 325cc injectors back from cleaning. They turned out perfect.

To do:
Install injectors
Install new plugs
Set F-Con to bypass mode
Find some decent gas in this town
Drive!!

filling the motor mounts with urethane. just gotta wait for them to cure now.

how much was that puller? do you have a press to put the hub back together? where there shims for the the bearing to get the correct preload?

put the motor mounts back in last night. was pretty impressed. i never really thought about the role functioning motor mounts play. hmmm.

And I have to say, Rich Jensen (the guy that owns the place) was great to work with. I could call with questions and he was always very friendly. Email response was very quick, too.

I'm actually rustling up a set of 195500-1650's (325cc 12.6 ohm injectors) to try in the car. As soon as I've got them, he's getting those to spruce up.

I have a set of Injectors coming back from him now. He just serviced my white cars set, so I can throw them into my engine rebuild once finished. Very nice guy, and very knowledgeable. Would recommend him.

Cool! I'll be installing mine Saturday or Sunday. I've never done injectors before, so it should be interesting.

do rear main seals go out commonly on sohc b6's? im pretty sure mine is gone. i can leak 3 quarts in a 4-5 days. :/

I wouldnt say its common. But it does happen. Are you puking from between the tranny and engine block?


I got my Injectors today. They are all sealed and look like new! Cant wait to use em!
