Clay, it sounds like you have a boost sensor failure somewhere. I would check to make sure your boost sensor is hooked up properly and in functional condition. If you have removed alot of the wiring and vaccume to use an aftermarket engine/fuel management, that maybe a problem too.

started converting the front end to use the protege 4wd knuckles. got the passenger side all fitted and the cv joing on the axle changed. i still need to take the axle to a mechanic to reband the cv boot though. starting on the drivers side tonight maybe, i kinda feel lazy and like playing xbox

Maybe but when I had the open intake the fuel cut would chime in regularly.

Installed a bp intank pump in 323 gt with the bpt swap and the car start a whole lot easier than when i had the Walbro pump installed. What is psi rating rating between the bpt pump & bp pump?

so i got the GTX back on the road today with the protege 4wd hubs/knuckles, protege LX rotors, EGT calipers. i got the new front chassis brace in the mail so ill be doing that this week.

Also, last night i got a call from another CP member, he said he bought a carbon fiber hood for his BG 323 and it didnt fit. after some theories then quick measurements we discovered it was for a BF chassis. So i immediatly drove to NY to pick up. He said some guy in Cali who owned a body shop had made a mold and only made 1 hood and never mounted it, I now have that hood. only problem is that it uses BG hood hinges not BF, so JY run this week

That was the infamous carbon fiber hood deal that so many from the Yahoo group got boned on ....consider yourself the lucky ONE that ended up getting what you paid for...so ironic that the guy that got one was an innocent bystander. Kudos to you man.
