Welded up a ricetastic side exit exhaust for the hatch. Now I need to replace the exhaust elbow that I snapped all the studs off of.

icurunnin . . Yep, power steering & a/c works just fine.

Odometer just hit 100k, and everything in the car works except for one. . rear hatch lift supports are toast.

Hey trailrider.... If I may be so bold as to offer my opinion....

I think you ought to paint the bumper red to match your car before worrying about changing out the lights. I think that would make a much bigger difference in looks than worrying about lights right now. Just my 2 cents.

            Looks good!

Negative Jeff... Keep the two tone... Larry is on drugs again.

You mean the three-tone? Look at the hood! If your rear bumper were the exact same color as the front and maybe even the bottom-half of the car was painted to match the bumper line and the gray color, then yeah, I would say keep the front bumper the color it is. If the rear bumper is red like the rest of the car, then I say he's better off matching the front bumper to the red of the rest of the car.

Now, having never seen your rear, I don't know what color it is....

I guess Matt has seen it. Therefore, he has his opinions....

Some really neat BF on this thread.....

Yesterday I put a GT front bumper on my SE hatch with an S10 Lip.

                    Comon 50 MPG!

Now I need only a rear bumper skin and the foam blocks!

                    Pics soon.

i just posted in Mcrumble's bumper thread, the two tone with gray bottow is what seperated the 4WD, turbo GTX model from the base 323 models. To me i would never think of trying to imitate a base 323 look, the 2 tone GTX job is classic.

Bought some new rims. Waiting to put them on. Hopefully by this weekend they will be on. I am also about to hopefully have a fully built motor.

I replaced the radiator cooling fan and the coolant res so maybe the car won't try to blow up when i'm stuck in traffic.

I started putting the transmission back in the gtx last week only to find a frost plug in the back of the block had fallen out since the car has been sitting...
