Just enjoying driving it. Last night I got murdered by two 11 second hondas though. Can't win them all. Lol

So, are those used motor mounts that you add urethane to to stiffen them up?

The front mount is new & the side mount is used because i am unable to find a new side mount from the parts store.

I sprayed the rims on my car today. Black does look a whole lot nicer than the silver on the car.

                Then

searching around but didn't find anything and didn't want to start a thread for it. i was wondering what is involved in installing an a/f gauge.

Use Google or any other search engine of ur preference, search for the brand you have & it should give installation manual for the gauge you
have with the colour code for the wires the gauge come with. My sunpro a/f gauge has 4 wires red - power, black - ground, green - signal from o2 sensor & white - illumination. I got my instruction manual by using Google to find the brand gauge i have.

Make sure that you purchase a wideband sensor along with the gauge that's set up to work with it. You'll get great information out of it. Narrowband is pretty much just a bouncing light show. -completely worthless for tuning.

been there, made that mistake. hes right, just pay the money for a wideband and weld on a 2nd O2 bung for the sensor

i started to pull the starter on one of the gtx's. got frustrated with the heat and starter location, then gave up on it for a few beers.... plus a buddy's kids b-day party was going down. ehh.

edit: i didnt want to post again, since it was just me again... lol

                                1) started the GTX. after a little messaging, it fired up for me. however, it has some major tapping issue at first. sounded almost like a rod. but it clean up after a few seconds, figured it was the valve train after sitting for the last 3 years. seems as if there isnt enough oil pressure, cause the tapping only slight went away. dont think its rod knock. going to swap out the oil pump, see if that clears it. chassis lists 250k+ miles and its seen a few rallies in southern california.

                                2) i swapped out the new CA approved cat for a fully gutted cat. doesnt sound that much different in the cab, but outside is another story. under spool, you can CLEARLY hear the turbo from about 20 ft away. nothing crazy noisy, just the whirl sound of a turbo. according to my buddy, riding 20 ft behind in his truck, sort of sounds like an angry srt4 just less dB. idk what he meant by that though. lol

edit #2: checked gas mileage on the GT.. it averaged (more city & less freeway) 21.4 MPG .. thought for sure it was more. bit of a shocker considering every honda i have had was in the 35+ range city only on 87!
