What year is this GTX? It looks to have the later ("facelifted") hood and GTAe front bumper, but the early rear bumper and grille(?)

Don't overlook the EDM corner markers, Jim. The BFMR GTAe was a JDM thing only. Did I actually out-geek you?

Anyway, this is probably the BFMR that I respect the most on CP. For sure, these'r my favorite photos. ReSPEK!

Picked up my first GTX just over a week ago, I can't wait to get it on the road

          1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
          1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Good call! I noticed it was LHD, so I should have connected that with the GTAe being JDM only. I did notice the non-JDM corner lights, but I thought that might be because it was the early version GTX. I didn't know what else to make of them. Gets hard when Europe, Australia, US, and Japan all have different cosmetics for the same year and model. I just concentrate on the JDM version because that's what I'm trying to duplicate (sort of).

                Eastern Ontario GTX

Here is mine right before going under the knife. It is getting a shell up treatment back to full stock, plus a few period correct upgrades. Just over 107000km on it, and I am the 2nd owner.

Jeff in Oregon...here is mine. Solid and clean no rust minor leak on the driver c/v axles seal (need a part number)
Has 272 on the odometer. Runs strong 26 miles per gallon guestimate (fuel guage issue)

Is it just the 89's that had the skirts and different fron airdam?
How would i go about getting the front bumper and sideskirts like on mokko's car?

You'd import them from overseas. We never got anything that cool over here.

Corksport used to carry both. I don't know if anyone does anymore.
You could buy from Japan or try to buy used here in the States.
