Got it bolted in and hooked up.
One problem though. the front brake line towards the rad leaks.
When i took it off the 929 it was one of those ring lines you see on a fuel rail.
but the back one was normal.

not sure if how to stop the leak, the threads are the same but it leaks around the flange

      here are some pics.

Heres my stock booster and master

Heres the 929 master on the protege booster

Did you grab the banjo bolt and fitting off of the donor car? You'll need at least one (for the front), otherwise you'll find it hard to thread the fitting on and you'll end up with a leak.

In the picture, you can see that he is using one of the banjo fittings for the front port:

I took both off the donor car and used them.

          Yeah.. theres my problem lol.

it threaded in fine but it leaks.

How can i attach that banjo bolt to the standard fitting i have now?

Sorry, I knew about the fittings, but I keep forgetting about them even after I've done this several times.

Do you remember taking off the banjo bolt from the 929 MC (or do you remember letting it drop to the ground)? You can see it in the picture. The stock GTX line THREADS into the BOTTOM of the fitting (which the banjo bolt goes through and threads on to the MC). That is why the author stated to "Bend the line UP".

Just grab both fittings and bolts from the donor car, just in case you loose one, or one gets damaged.

Yeah that donor car did have the bolt on it.

Parts place has lines made for master cylinders and will fit in the threads.
Ill pick up the right size line. then splice the 2 together with a female to female.

Should work. if not ill have to make another trip to the yard.

okay got a fitting adapter and all the lines in today.

I go to test it out and it feels worse than before.
right to the floor no pressure at all.
may be some air but still, should atleast feel some feedback.

                im stumped

                    nope, no leaks.

ill bleed them all and if it changes.

usually when you pull a master cyl, you have to bench bleed it, or it wont build any real pressure. have you bench bled it, or did you just bleed the lines? im betting thats your issue.

bleading it without the lines atached. you can bolt it in place but dont do up the lines and bleed it that way. i just gave mine heaps of little pumps till fluid constantly came out the holes. then half did up the pipes. put my foot half way down so fluid leaked out, held my foot half way down then got my mate to do up the pipes

i have two little brake lines that i have bent up so they thread into the master cyl, then just bend up, and dump the fluid right back into the master cyl. makes for easy bench bleeding, doesnt waste fluid, and makes for alot less clean up.

I bled all 4 corners today.
still feels off. not like it should be.
Almost worst than stock feel. Could still be air in the lines?
