I drove the GTX for 8 miles tonight.
First I sat in it and let it idle for about half an hour. I notice I had to hold the rev (2000 RPMs) until the fuel gauge stopped blinking. Before leaving to go for the drive, the fuel gauge shows that it had a notch lower than half a tank.
Putting it in first gear and pulling off, it cut out (no, I didn't stall). While it climbs from 2K RPMs to 2.5K RPMs, it bucks. As I drove, the fuel gauge began to blink. Eventually, the fuel light came on as well. I pulled into the gas station. Only half a gallon of gas was put in (the tank is still full). I drove back home and parked up.
(The heat works!) If I change the sending unit, would this low fuel issue stop?
I definitely plan on getting the injectors cleaned, fixing the vacuum lines, new all season tires and she'll be on her way to greatness.
