rtv gasket sealer?

It's that time again! Time to get the ****box on the street and time for another e test. Just installed the cat and have a leak on one side of the flange between the d pipe and cat. I've loosen it and tightened every which way but still leaky. Has anyone had success with the "ultra copper" rtv silicone? I found a tube in my stash and have never used it. Ya thiniyk it'll work?

Well that puts a kibosh on that idea, cracked the never used tube. .....solid. Crap!
I tried a pic the rtv but my bride got me a fancy tablet and have no idea! Use to using acamera for pics. daddy dinosaur with no phone! Loser, I know,I here from the kids. They kmow everything!:-)
