    My Canadian BF

I have only been on CP a very short time but it seems I have failed to post anything about my car so here it is:

    1988 Mazda 323

I did some research and apparently it is a Canadian GT-non turbo 2wd

Bought it last April from a guy I work with for $700. My first standard car. It had +320k on it

Windshield was cracked, and it needed rear brakes which I replaced. The new windshield leaked and I stripped the axle nut when doing the brakes (reverse thread). But I got everything fixed eventually.

Failed emissions the first time around but after a new cat and a nice highway run, got it to pass.
    Driving it ever since.

Probably hard to tell from this picture but I painted the car...before winter. When my brother and I prepped it there was a lot of unforeseen rust which we need to take care of. Actually underneath it's virtually rust-free because it has about 15 years worth of undercoating on it.

Now it's black with MELOT RED accents(SAAB color swatch) with matte hood.
My brother and I also customized my headliner and A,B, and C pillars and you may also notice I added a blacklight

      Jobs Done:
      Windshield
      Rear Brakes
      Paint Job
Left rear brake line (Blew it while driving)
      Replaced high mount light
      Headliner
      Black light installed
2 Alpine 10" subs with Planet Audio 1600 watt amp
      New JL speakers
Sony radio(someone butchered the original harness so it was a real pain to wire in)
      Replaced hatch shocks

      Nothing too extreme

      Next plans:
Bought a B6t which I'm rebuilding for "the swap"
Car is sagging a bit due to my suspension so I am getting some Monroe struts all the way around and bought H&R springs
      New Moog ball joint
      Momo steering wheel install
      Bought ACT clutch kit
      New Rad
      More custom interior work
Bought GTae front bumper which my brother is "prettying up"

Sweet car and glad that another one is being rescued.

I do not see install H&R Springs on the list?

Looks like a cold winter in Keswick.

Yeah it is a cold one this year. The springs came in but I'm waiting on the new struts before I install them. Probably in a few weeks. Whenever someone at my shop wants to stick around after work. Sometimes it takes forever just to get someone to stick around for an oilchange

No not yet, as I am new to the whole forum thing I never really thought about it before. Any tips you have for worklogs would be helpful.
