ok 5 stud rear deficiently requires coil-overs
reasons
*the spring perch hits the inner tire guard badly
*the bg spring is wider then the bf spring ,so the bg spring doesn't seat right on the bf top hat
*the shocks mounting points are alot lower so shock bottoms out
sooo... coil overs here i come
etude ftw!

My setup is GAB 8 way adjustable struts and Dropzone lowering springs.
not very low even though dropzone is supposedly the lowest spring availablehanded down to my old man : 1994 Escort gt

update:
Since i got the engine issues somewhat worked out(hopefully for good this time, lol) again, I can get back to work on my suspension. im going to attempt to put the entire rear subframe from a BG under my car. I finally found someone who has done exactly what I'm trying to do. So it IS possible, just have to do some drilling and possibly fabrication.

it mounts at the same spot between a bf and bg trailing arm soo not really different maybe a cm difference's as both the trailing arms are identical expect the rubber bushes in the ends
this can be fixed by adjustable trailing arms which the guy had to do any way ,as bg arms are way longer
still don't know why he used a bg x member its bugging me lol
etude ftw!

i pmed dee about this , i swaped in a hole bg rear subframe into my fwd bf a few years ago, after doing it i thought it might be a better idea to just swap the bg spindles, but never did it.
for the sake of knowing, whats the whole combo rear bg spindle on a bf subframe and bf arms or bg trailing arms and bf on the rest of them,, or what?5 boosted bp cars,why...
