the chrome coating on the plastic emblems will chip off. It is rumored that you can remove the coating my soaking the emblem in bleach then you can paint the plastic and it will not chip. I have not done this but I have cut the evil M on my BH

yep bleach works great, i'm sure a properly cut one wouldn't chip, mine are clean cut perfect lol-Jack
