yeah, they're rectangular, ours have the lower corner on the grille side cut to match the bumper.

This was just a pseudo-test-fit of the bumper to see how it looked. It'll be getting the RMM grille installed, and I'll probably leave the gap at the bottom because of the extra added airflow. Ignore the rubber hose, that was just to hold the grille in place (the whole bumper/grille/lights were off due to the engine swap at the time...

The truck was originally from TX, and had NO undercoating whatsoever... when we got it, it had black primer replacement hood and fenders, but after a few years up in Wisconsin, it started to just fall apart. It was worth every penny of the $250 bucks it took to make it run (150 for the truck with a cracked-block I6, and 100 for a 77 caprice with a 350). We finally retired it this past spring. 250 bucks for a vehicle that lasted us fourteen years is worth it, no matter how bad it looked.
