I bet you got water in your distributor cap as well. should check both. When I use to have my gt I had a custom hood that I was building, almost like the invader. I used to get water in my distributor cap and plug wells all the time. It would run like crap. There was a couple of rainny days where I had to pull over and dry everything out. Sucked big time.

Don't use wd40, use wire drier. The wd40 will only attrack dirt and oil.

yea, the pacesetter is an ALRIGHT unit, i have the 4-2-1 on my EGT at the moment, i just did some prepping before it went in, i made sure both ports were the same szie and smooth (engine and header) then i chopped the header off right where it started to round off from the 2-1 connection, and made it 2.5" to the muffler, but a hollowed out cat, a nice resonator, and a used magnaflow muffler (it was on my truck before) and i was off!

the car had great responce once it was over 3,500rpm...before that, haha, BOGGGGGG!. but that exhaust mixed in with a 3" CAI, P&P intake mani, bored out TB, timing advanced, coil pack, taylor 8mm wires made for a fun drive! the tires were just HATING 2nd gear

needles to say i did notice a HUGE difference in power with the exhaust work, i'd say anywhere from 7-12whp. it went from 'erp' in 2nd to 'CHIRRRP' and the car letting loose!

i think im the only FWD car in my area that can make their car kick out sideways when shifting into 2nd

I have the older Pacesetter 4-2-1 Header, high flow cat, and Monza exhaust from the cat back, all 2.25 I.D. A little louder than the Honda's with fart cans, but not bad when cruizin'. When I get it running again I'll put up some sound bites.
