A '93 Protege LX does not have a 1.6L.

yes that will work. but make sure you buy a good quality clutch, the 323 flywheel is kinda small.

hello all, bad news, my original 93 pro lx blew the cam shaft again, im saying this because the camshaft chewed up the cam journals, and the cam snapped in half,
exhaust cam,

so picked up another 93 pro lx today for a down payment of a 100 usd dollars, i owe 150usd dollars and ill have the title, the car just needs a clutch, so im pulling brand new acuna spec clutch out along with my modified, 323 lx tranny and bolting it in, along with my 2.25" straight pipe in it as well,

installing my 85 amp alternator.
brand new high performance water pump.
brand new high performance oil pump.
and my rx7 vaf, and custom cold air intake.

Umm you didn't pull the NOS into valve cover trick and froze the cam did you?!

how did you modify your tranny?

If you're breaking camshafts, you must be doing something wrong during installation.

the trany was modified by my dad, what ever he did to it, i have no idea, i just know that the car does not do a one wheel burn out, it does a two wheel know.
the cam was stock i was just driving to the mcdonalds, it made a ****ing loud as clunk, the car just stopped. nos no i dont use it, no offense intended, but nos is for the people that granny shift.

well any ways i just got the tranny in my car everything is connected, but the car wont start now, wont even turn over, hell the car was running before i swapped out all my parts. any idea of what is keeping my car from turning over, ive checked all fuses, relays, double checked the wiring for the starting system, its all connected.
im thinking that the starter just gave up after started last nite and let it run for an hour.

yep your correct, asked my dad about it, hes already started on another tranny for me, think he said it was AWD, and its a late christmas/early b-day gift when hes done,

no motor
no fuel tank
nothing but suspension, wheels, one seat, and dash
everything else doesnt have to be there
basicall i want a straght shell, hood less, front fenders you can keep, decklid you can keep, just so long as it has the awd rearend
