The Zetec Escorts use the ZX2 engine because it has the same engine mounts, the Focus' Zetec is a different ballgame.

As far as SVT vs BP powered I had no problem taking down an SVT Focus with my basically bone stock EGT. We both pretty much stopped at the same time though around 70mph so who knows how it would have gone if he saw 6th gear.

yes but its the same engine... by using zx2 mounts it will be pretty straight forward, id say its possible just got to find the right formula as usual..

yes its all in the cylinder head/intake manifold/exhaust manifold. find a zx2 engine -svt focus head-intake manifold. but abou the tranny it prob would bolt up to the regular zetec block, not sure but im sure soemone has tried it on the zx2 tho..

you stopped at 70? that is just the top of second gear! that is right when the fun begins 3rd is a great gear in the g-series!
