you could get a 1.8l gtx exhaust manifold, and slot the holes out (i think on the turbo?) and you can get the XR2 turbo to half assed fit the manifold, and therefore work on the 1.8. but, its too small for the motor so your powerband will drop off very early

Thats the 1.6 DOHC B6 turbo motor, right? if so, yes it'll bolt in to your EGTs tranny, but you have to use a 1.6 DOHC B6 clutch and flywheel. Also you might be able to use your exsisting wiring harness, just not have VICS.
Not much gains off it though, your EGT is *127hp* and the B6T is *132hp*. Mind you, exhaust, intake, FMIC and up the boost, you could probably get 170-180whp out of it.

I'm not trying to be rude, but why not just get a turbo/manifold that was made for your engine? You'd be saving yourself so much work and hardship, and it might not work out in the end or if it does, it might be half-assed.Last edited by Jho; 11-11-2006, 10:23 AM.
