Ok its been a while since an update but here we go. The block was overboard to fit the Weisco pistons and the deck was machined so it was nice in flat. They also cleaned up the block which was nice of them.

Looks a lot better then right after I pulled it out of the car

I got the GTR intake manifold in, looks good. It will be extrude honed here in a few weeks.

I will upload pics as soon as i unpack it (thats another story)

The oil pan after it got glass beaded. I had more pics but the lighting sucked so they are not here.
Block is almost done, cylinders are overboard for Weisco pistons, pro gram billet main caps have been line bored, and my chinese EDT rods have been machined to right specs. Everything has been balanced.

Ok one month update. NO PICS this time guys. No more work has been done to the block as i am almost done with fitting the custom crate, the block is getting frieghted back the states to get some work done on it. The german shops here want too much $$$$.

I will begin the tranny rebuild when I get done with leave and school. Leave is for 3 weeks starting on 22 Oct and my army school, BNCOC phase 2 will last until 18 Dec. I will be replacing all the gaskets and seals, I will glass bead and powder coat the cases in clear, and i will add a MSP LSD and 626 5th gear.

I have a lot of the accesories at the shop now. They got glass beaded and powder coated. I will pick them up next week as i am short of funds at the moment, damn BNCOC will cost be about $500.

I will be going with ERD Racing rods and billet main caps. ARP studs all the way around and I will get the crank knife edged. No more than that as I dont want a free spinning motor.

Also, I found a german JY but it figures that none of them spoke english. The GF will help me with that later this week.

Nah its at Redstone, 94F here. I tried to get the staked nuts off the tranny today, big one came off but the small one didnt. hacked the hell out of it but it still wont move. I have to find my cobalt bolts, time to drill the sill plate off.

Last update till next year (I will be gone for 7 weeks)

I got the oil pan and a few other pieces powdercoated. The pan got clear and I love the way it turned out, the pics dont do it justice.

Got the tranny apart (not all the way, i will forget how it goes together if I take it all the way apart now.) I coated the tranny in WD40 to prevent rust while I am gone.

Order is crucial here so this is what I did:

Crated up the block, its not done yet but I cant get plywood so I had to use 1.25" panel pine. HEAVY

Engine mount part, where does it go though?

and last, guess what, a ****ing hole the tranny oil pan. Luckily I am heading back to the states tomarrow so JYs here I come. (yea its blury, my digi cam cant take macro pics worth a ****)

Almost forgot, 1 piece of the tranny case degreased and ready for glass beading. It should turn out just like the oil pan. Warning though, never use carb cleaner in your bathtub.

It goes on the top tranny engine mount (under the battery). See attached pic.

Didnt eat mine plus my tub is porcilin, it just started to stain it so I had to scrub it.

LSD all the way. I am leaving for the states today so now more work on the tranny or engine until late December.
