what helped the most for me, was getting some cheap $20 glass driving lights (shaped like fog lights) from walmart, i think the brand was pilot or something. anyways, i replaced the 55w bulbs with new 100w ones and simply put them in the same location as the stock fogs on my egt. i then aimed them like high beams, and wired them with a relay to turn on with my highbeams. I also have a 400 watt sub and 2 90 watt component speakers, the lights only dim if i have all the lights on and the stereo blasting so loud you'll go deaf if you keep it up that high.

most bang for the buck period. and looks stock (i have them installed in my sig pic). i can see extremely well at night now.

I guess that's not a bad idea since the driving lights (that's what I have BTW they are still way dim compared to the new headlights) have h3 bulbs I think.

The SilverStars are your weakest link. They are nothing but garbage, even in new headlights. I have the same headlights as 67cutlass with PIAA Super White bulbs and it was a night day difference over the Silverstars, although there is still a lot to be desired. Once I've done some more reaearch on the dimensions and availabe space underhood I'm going to switch to E-Spec E36 Ellipsoidal projectors run off of a headlight relay kit from http://www.danielsternlighting.com/ . If you want to learn a little bit about proper lighting I highly suggest reading that site for awhile. The E-Spec headlights should leave the option of safely using HID lighting as well if I feel the need.
