Oh, I anticipated very well that I was going to make a mistake on that post and that someone would call me on it. I've seen it happen on other forums to other guys. That's why I included the quote below to cover my butt.

I knew even re-reading it would not cover every mistake. I'm 42 years old and been out of school for forever now. I know I will never write even close 100% ever again.

u have email add ill send you a wiring diaghram where to check it ...theres two erlay that need to be checked one in the engine bay and the other next to the ecu.. also check for faulty grounds.. but the way u said it im guessing the relay on next to the ecu isnt getting a good gnd, one way to test it is by tapping trough the ( forgot what color, gnd) and use the chasis and grn it .. this should cause the relay to close and let the 12V start flowing...
ps... nice car looks like mine =P

yes disregard my fuelpump idea... i reread this before i realized i commented on it then saw my comment... I must not have read the whole post before my comment was made ... my fuel pump was obviously bad, sruggling to pump it sounded horrible, then when it finally took a total crap on me i took it out and it didnt rattle at all.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

No need to apologize either. Once again, very interesting info.

A short in the fuel pump wiring on the 1991 to '95 Escorts may result a loss of fuel delivery and cause the engine to stall. A Ford dealer will install a fused jumper harness in the circuit, at no charge, on vehicles included in this recall.
Go this web site for info.
