    i think something around .20? its to much or is ok? remember the pistons its a little taller

      find out how much taller, that'll help you determine how much material you can afford to lose. if you do get the head machined, i'd leave a little clearance tho...like .10" incase something has a slight warp you can get it machined out still. If you max it out, then you'd have to source out a new head :/

        well you can also take some playdough. and place it nice and flat on the piston. bring piston to tDC and rotate the cams open and close . you can see how much erea to play with .
