i was just wondering if anyone makes a better ignition for my n/a escort gt circle track car. im looking for something that will boost a few horses and let me run 110 octane or a mixture. if you know of any thing let me know. where to look, what im looking for , and approx. cost

not sure what you mean...? you could run a MSD6a on there if you want, bump your base timing up to 18* or so... you wont get any extra power out of 110 unless you get standalone and retune your ignition map. even then, i dont think you'll be able to gain much over running 93, the compression is too low.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. plugs... ngk v-power. wires... i like my taylor thundervolts. magnacore is also good ive been told.

throttle body
is there a good throttle body that i could change to ? thinking maybe that could give a few hp. and if i do.will i need to worry about air fuel mixture? or will it mess with computer? im thinking about getting the complete head package from gude. but im not sure how compatible that issigpic

is it leaded or unleaded? if it is leaded it will kill your o2 sensor but other than that it shouldnt hurt anything. i dont think anyone has a high compression BP running on 110, so i cant honestly say... with stock compression i doubt the gain would be terribly significant though. with the stock ECU you'd probably make les power actually.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft.
