What are you allowed? Negative chamber will help keep you tire contac patch flatter to the track in corners, giving you more grip and lowering your tire temps. You said it was oval track racing, right? So it's likely your outside tire getting the hottest. Also a bit of toe out in front would help the car to turn in quicker/easier, but on dirt it likely wouldn't be noticeable. Last year when I ran a stadium dirt race, we set the car with about 1/2 degree negative chamber all around, zero toe in the rear and 1/16" to 1/8" of toe out in the front. The car handled great. To get some chamber in the front, make sure the top mounts are biased to the inside (you car rotate them in 90 degree increments, center is slightly off). Also, loosen all the mounting bolts top and bottom and just pushing everything toward the center of the car, that would give you all the factory tolerancing. If you are allowed, you can always slightly slot mounting holes in the body and/or struts. Lastly, you could replace the upper clevis bolts on the struts with a Grade* 3/8" bolt to get more cheap chamber, but this isn't the best solution, I've never trited it, just hear say.

Yes what jrally said is good info. On the right front take the strut out and using a diegrinder you can oblong the holes toward the rear and center of the car. And the grade 8 3/8ths bolt is a good idea also. I slotted the holes on my strut for adjustment. Basicaly you want the top of the tire to lean in so you will have the best traction in the corners. And yes our tires do get hot in the feature because by the end of the night when the track is all packed in its very hard almost like asphault.

you could also buy a "camber kit" which is a special bolt with a cam lobe type shape to it.. so its not as likely to loosen up as simply using a smaller diameter upper bolt.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI
