Just got my 95 egt running with a BPT. I also have a stock 91 EGT. bomdoutscort has helpped me a lot getting the car sorted out. He also turned me on to this forum. I have gotten a lot of info here, thanks. I'm gonna try to add a photo.

ive now replaced the black rubber intake with aluminum and blue sil connectors. and installed a 4 wire tps.

Do you think I should replace the Mazda valve cover with a ford gt one. I am guessing it will fit? anybody done it?

Keep the mazda one. It's a Mazda at heart! But yes it will fit, it's an exact replacement.
