zx2 s/r gear swap and ratios, questions

So I remember reading somewhere about the s/r having some different gearing and/or stronger gear, also I know one of the shift forks is re-designed.
I found a s/r at the yards but want to know if it's worth buying for anything?

I've been searching some keywords but cant find the same info I had seen before. Thanks.

afaik it's the 97+ escort sohc mtx transmission that had the thicker shift forks and different gear ratio. Idk if it's the same thing ZX2.

the only info ive ever seen was gro harlem's swap, it had better synchros and longer 4th 5th iirc.

Grab the lca and brackets also the struts and springs. I heard they have poly bushings and ginkgo struts with eibach springs

They are tokico s/r struts

haha I think his phone did an auto correct or something. It does have quite a bit of goodies on it, I also thought it had a short shifter too. Not to mention the Borla axle back exhaust.
