My build thread, 93 Escort GT

HI, names John. Here's my escort gt. Bought the car from texas. Did all body and paint work. had it done to the metal during that process. color is nighthawk black. it has blue metallic in it and sparkles in the sunlight. Ive had this thing for a few years now, after paint it basically was put on hold. now im getting back to it. My goal is turning it rwd and my end goal is 3-400 hp. not sure power train wise but the rear end is looking like a do-it-yourself-er. You may say thats a whole hell of alotta work but i wanna do something crazy. something that gonna push my skills. Inside of the car is still gutted and Dp black Primer. i still have everything i need minus a sunroof. And the car still needs to be wetsand and buffed. front bumper is from corksport and the day i got it i had to put it up. so it just has zip ties for now, planning on doing a bmw like headlight conversion and will mod bumper to fit, then ill paint it to match the car. also waiting on classic rear spoiler

Well i did all the body work and made sure it was perfect. i just picked up a 97 miata to eventually use for the drivetrain conversion... though ive fallen for the little car on the drive home. ill post pictures of it soon. even if i dont use it as my main parts miata, i can still use it to help fabricate stuff for my escort. its gonna be a long, knowledgeable build

                #revival from the grave

That was my brothers 323 1.6l fwd auto. Long story short, i helped him get it since it was cheap and i had lots of parts. well he never took care of it nor put any money into it so when things started to go south, he up and bought a short lived Subaru ?forester? this car was sold to a fellow member and buddy north of me. He drove it for another 5 years through Wisconsin winters before rotting.

I still have this car, and its still waiting, everything basically time capsuled. I eventually picked up a 97 miata that was supposed to be used to this build but i fell for it. a few years later it got a High comp build bp with ITBs running Ms3 sequential. theres still more progress to be had but it got shelved til hopefully after my wedding which is in the next few months. Some how i went from a MKIII VW golf into a gen 10 toyota corolla and now im back to using a 95 EGT as my daily.
