    more boost

    today felt like spring so I turned the boost back up to 16 psi, uncorked the cold air scoops, upped the fuel (SDS EIC) and knocked back the timing a little (Jacobs BTM)...back to adrenaline shakes and white knuckles. The old Escort GT may look old and worn...don't judge a book by its cover. Muhahahaha...

    Too much snow for me to even consider bring my car out of storage lol, glad you're having some fun tho!! Sounds like you've got your tune down to a fine science too lol. I've finally taken the plunge and am going with an MS unit, so tired of the air flow meter and lack of tuning lol. Almost sounds like you've got it figured out though haha, fuel controller, knock controller...good to go lol.

        Jack...the tuning process has been tedious. Remember algebra, and three variable equations? Adjust VAF, change fuel curve with Extra inj controller, vari timing with Jacobs BTM. Seat of the pants tuning. Dialed in quite clean and smooth now.

        MS would prob be easier and safer.

        Sorry Noob...we have it easy on the Wet Coast.
