anyone know if all stock rims are the same on escorts? One of my steel rims is dinged up on my 1993 4dr lx. To save money I was thinking of going to the junkyard to find one..of course it would be cool to find some GT rims!

basically yes. 4 x 100 pattern. anything stock you wont have fitment issues

yeah, except for the fact that 91-93 LX are 13" wheels and 94+ are 14" (excluding Pony and GT models).sigpic

stock steel wheels off of any 90-94 protege or 323 should work also

I tried to put the alloy rims from our 99 mazda protégé DX on it because the tires are great, but they didn't fit. They are 15'sComment

If I upgraded to larger rims, would I have to increase size of rotors too ? to 14 or 15? , guess that would mean different calipers too. ?Comment

what? no, you don't have to change the size of the rotors if you're changing wheel sizes. rotors/pads/calipers have to match, though.sigpic

Cool, Thanks for the info. Guess I'll go look around, or check craigslist for rims. Anybody find any cheaper aftermarket rims ? most seem too costly for a "grocery getter" like mine.Comment
