Ok I got some pictures... twas putting the short block together and encountered some problems. Also rebuilt the halfshaft...

Problem #1... I have to cut and fit my own crank scraper... sucks!
Problem #2... ARP main studs and the MSBP do not fit with each other. I have either grind down the ARP's(not gonna happen) or the MSBP...

    More Pictures...

              Thanks guys!

I'm hoping to have the engine together by the end of the month and turning the key by middle of September... mid-Sept becuase it'll be a weekend project as I have to work during the week. I might take a couple days off to get some stuff done. But that's the goal for time... *cross' fingers*

Okay... today I milled some holes in the MSBP for the too long ARP main studs. Word of advice to anyone going to put ARP main studs and the MSBP, you need to cut either one.

                  Pictures on Monday...

Sorry guys, I had my head up in the clouds for a couple of days there.

                        More pictures...

I've also started drilling my oil pan for the return line, cutting the crank scraper, continuing porting and polishing, and installed the oil squirters today.

Polished up one exhaust port to see what it would look and feel like, WOW! I used a rod which I cut a slit in and used a belt that I tore up and wrapped around the rod. I then put it in a drill and proceeded to polish it up. I'll try and remember to take some pictures tomorrow.

Now for those of you who know a little something about porting and polishing... would you want the the intake ports to be a little rough to create some turbulance? I know for the exhaust the smoother the better.

Thought I'd add some more pictures to make up for missing Monday.

Here's where I started drilling for the drain back for the oil return from the turbo...

                              Not polished...

Polished... hard to tell cause this macro on this digicam sucks

3-angle valve grind I did on an Acura head today...

                              More pictures at the bottom...

                                I can see the difference.

You always have some of the best pictures with the cleanest, freshly painted parts.
