if our bore is bigger then the means the area to fill is larger if you take that into account then flat top valves would have a smaller affect... if the bore was smaller then the flat top would have lager affect... its like division if you if you have 1/3 and increase the 1 to 1.1 that would have a larger affect tahn if you had 1/4 and increased the 1 to 1.1, make sense? Also our valves do not dish in very much at all...

you're going all out on the motor, you should spend that money to help with tuning and getting all the power you can out of that engine. i would say yes, it's worth it.Create your own VB Gallery here.

the blue probably won't match the valve cover so it would be taky... so its either clear or red.. i was leaning to the red cause aside from the blue valve cover most everything else will be clear or black so i thought it might add a little more splash of colorIn the Garage

two different shades of blue isnt a bad thing, unless they are close and it looks like a crappy match job.
i've got some blue anodized parts (wastegate, eventually cam gears, etc)... and i'm probably going with a dark/navy blue valvecover. looks good in my mind at least lol

oh yeah, and i dunno how i would feel about red cam gears on your motor... red, silver, and blue is too patriotic looking for meLast edited by therieldeal; 12-14-2006, 07:31 AM.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

i suppose it is a litlte patriotic... not that it's a bad thing personally... but i suppose it could end up looking corny.. and i'm pretty sure the blues is one of those close but not quite thingsIn the Garage

ah, thats too bad about the blue color . yeah i have no problem with patriotism either, but having a mazda with patriotic colors under the hood might look a little funny heheEscort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI
