When you go to the track, you should have an R&R rear strut assembly with super tall stiff springs so the car won't squat lol.

if you're worried about the heat thing, you could try some sort of spray-on exhaust coating that's designed to help control heat. the spray on stuff always burns off when you use it on the manifold, but i'd think it would hold up much better on the rest of the exhaust where the temps are lower
I don't know why people are always suggesting the spray on coating. This is crap when compared to Jet-Hot. Research it and you're see why everybody does it. I've talked to several people and they swear by it. Not only will it never burn off or scratch off, but it also extends the life of your exhaust components, lowers engine bay temperatures, cools down faster which would help with hot lapping, and it comes in different colors/heat ranges and will make your engine bay look nice.

Low 13s would be very hard to reach with a NA BP, not sure if it's even doable. You'll need to double the engine output and lose weight to reach that goal. A stock S2000 which is 2.0L, 11.1:1 comp and Vtec does 13.7 (237hp @ 8000K rpm).

What's your current power, or at least 1/4 time?

i suggested the spray on stuff because i figured getting his entire exhaust system jet-hot coated would be pretty cost-prohibitive.
