I have the same engine put to my 323f BA, and going to dyno 09.09

Here is a video of my ITB set up before the ITBs were synchronized. It was way faster after more tuning and sync'd, too bad I don't have videos of that

so to tune the gsxr itbs you just adjusted the screws on the linkages? or did you tune the screws on the top as well to adjust? how badly out of sync were yours? ive never done a itbs sync before but will be finding out the fun way in the next few days. Did you end up having to use the cable operated idle knob much to set the idle high enough to prevent stalling?

did you buy the proper syncing tool that is used commonly by motorcycle techs or did you just hook up a vac gauge to each runner 1 at a time?

it must not be running right in that vid. i was beating on a stock escort gt a week ago before i pulled the engine out and it wasnt much slower than that. would be cool to see a vid with it running 100% I bet it was alot of fun.

yeah like I said, that was untuned and unsynchronized... when it was fully tunned I beat my buddy's 240sx SR20DET with bolt ons @ 10psi by 1/2 car length

                              So you are boosted now?

You are just sharing a old video when it used to have itbs..?!

Does your car have power steering? I see you use both hands to drive it. The movement from stickshift to steering wheel and back makes you waste too much time.

DId you have a mechanical oil pressure gauge before it started knocking?

And by the way, with those 10@1 cast pistons the engine will run pretty good on boost, I had the similar setup: 10@1, chinacharger t3/t4 .50 trim with 550cc with a gheto apex and was (as the oil pump blew and all the gears threw up metal shavings) freakin fun to drive.

It is very true, you when running a peppy N/A motor, power on the fly, like I mean now beech (talking to the engine). Like some people say about turbo been boring, that is usually at lower psi, but man when you are above 15 psi on a T3/T4 its so addictive, the spoolin sound, I can describe the feeling similar to when you reach the top of a roller coaster mountain and its oh shyyyyytt!

Yes, just sharing an old video that I forgot to upload.

No power steering + ****ty roads + bad alignment + bald tires + torque = a chance to loose control.

No oil pressure gauge at the time. The plate that holds the pump gears wasn't tight on there, so it lost pressure. Eventually started knocking. So I built the engine for turbo w/ 9:1 compression ratio. No videos of it because now I have a slipping clutch Yes turbo is addicting, I'm at 9psi and I'm having a blast lol
