some good info there but a long read to find out he didnt finish..

so far the power steering lines are a lil goofy but they should work..

being the v6 gotta mess with the fuel lines a bit going to switch over to the GTX fuel rail that came with the motor for some better fitment

you need the EGT power harness or i guess any 4cyl power one for the starter/alternator plugs to be right but you can just unplug all the headlights and other non motor plugs from the fuse box and the gs ones fit in their place no problem.. just swapped over the whole bracket with the coil n all

Engine/trans, radiator/fan to go in tomarrow hopefully do the rear brakes and figure out which linkage to use..

ya all the wiring is the same as the escort.. except the charging harness.. i swapped over the coil/fuse block and bracket and just unplugged the non chargning plugs. I.E. headlights and all that junk..

having some issues with my injectors seating in my old mazda rail might have to get a diff. one or swap back to my ford on i keep leaking at the o rings.. no matter how much grease i use..

also pulled a dumbass move and put my clutch disc on backwards so i had to pull the trans back off to flip it.. cant believe i was so careless..

but trans is back on... still a bitch to pull just the trans in the mx as it is the EGT much easier to pull the whole motor..

need to bolt the subframe back up and put my ghetto rigged IC piping on to get it to my shop to redo it and make it all nice

think you're using too much grease lol, not technically supposed to use any at all there.

Could also be undersized o-rings you're using, I find some aftermarket ones aren't as thick.

Sucks about the friction disk lol...**** happens.

            show us some pics tho!!!

well the FELPRO o rings suck balls but i made them work.. no more leaks.. they are actually slightly oversized causing them to roll and tear during install...

aside from all that im getting a pretty nasty misfire.. in cyl 2.. at first it was 1/2 and i thought i had clogged the injectors with the grease.. but messing around with it 1 eventually started firing just fine.. still a miss in # 2 tho I have spark at the wire and power at the injector harness.... my AFRs are about 13.5 again i thought maybe it was a little clogged so i swapped injector 2/4 and the miss stayed with cyl 2 so its not the injector itself..

Now all i can think it can be is the wiring is broken but only seperates when the wire is bent over the rail to plug into the injector or some how i completely lost spark at the #2 spark plug..

thing is the motor ran great b4 the swap, so today ill be doing a bit of a tuneup.. plugs n wires and im going to see if the miss is still there, im expecting it to be there and if it is i wiilll be pulling the rail yet again to tear into the injector harness and see whats going on
