KL timing belt

    after 5 KL timing belts, i got the job down to 30 minutes with the motor still in the car.

    however with an OEM tensioner i doubt it'd retain being that easy

      the auto tensioner makes it that much faster Ryan.... I just leave it set, move the tensioner pulley with the screwdriver and then bolt the tensioner on... done..

      IDK what your doing wrong to go through timing belts?? Your probably just over tightening it.

        scott, i was using a auto converted to a manual tensioner- it kept chucking the belts.
        i finally tossed it out

          haha yea screw it... ive never had an issue with the auto tensioner!
