So when I was visiting my parents I went and checked up on Olive...and dammit I was hoping something would have been out of wack so I wouldn't care that she's parked...but NOPE! Everything worked and on first turn of the key too lol...sat for months with the battery disconnected and VROOM started right up-! Idle was perfect til she hit norm op temp then the idle went all lumpy again...but that's IT! Not even a low tire lol. Damn highway charges that I didn't rack up...that's what's stoping me btw. Suppsidly drove on a toll hwy a few dozen times and accumulated over 400 in charges :/ so that's being disputed lol probably won't win tho....damn govnt.

sounds like a bad o2 sensor if the idle goes weird once it warms up. mine was doing the same thing. and getting worse and worse after every week.

really? damn I know the car was doing it when I got it but changing out the MAF net a HUGE difference all around, then it still lingered then I continued to replace the plugs/wires/cap/rotor/HEI mod/o2 x 2/coolant sensors/tps/chemical dipped intake manifold lol...and it still wants to be an ass sometimes.

What o2 did you get for a replacement Pat? I wired in 2 universal NTK sensors and it really didn't do much difference now that I think of it.

car was atx, now is mtx idk the final drive, but if I had to guess it's the 4.11 final

So yesterday I pulled the 626 out of storage. She fired right up, and only had 1 tire low (brought a full compressor tho ), got some gas and brought her home.

Today I just cleaned the crap out of the trunk from when I did the MTX conversion and used this "waterless car wash" stuff on it as it was only suffering from heavy dust...and damn it worked well! Took about 4 microfiber clothes to get the job done, but it works. Also snapped some pics of the interior...it's 99% complete other than the shift boot and getting my dual 12v socket working in the center console.
