believe it or not it's lowered almost 3" as it is haha. Rear dropped 2.7" and front was around 2.6", but she rides like a dream still.
If it didn't need an alignment right away I would have tossed some BG front strut mounts in her to get an extra 1/2" drop, but it's already cutting it close on speed bumps as is lol.
I'm considering grabbing some 98+ 626 caliper brackets f&r since I'm picking up rotors/pads for her tomorrow...bigger rotors/pads aren't always a bad thing when it's as simple as a bracket swap lol...afaik it's just the bracket that's needed at least.-Jack

it's over 1" in rotor size iirc, but after further research seems I need the front calipers as well for that upgrade as the slider pins and casting for the caliper are different and no one's been able to find a proper replacement slider to make the system work...soooo the heck with it and stick to stock size lol.
Found a site to help me diagnose some idling issues though, so hopefully sometime after I get the car solid I can check out all the solenoids to make sure they're hooked up properly and functioning.-Jack

unfortunately no lol just been going off what Blackshire's been saying, he's a pretty solid source for info, as well as the other few people who tried to do the swap w/o the 98+ calilpers and had no luck.
Just seems the 98+ calipers were only made for 4yrs on that car only, nothing else...so it's scarce and nothing that really swaps over :/-Jack

so would I lol
today I've managed to strip the power harness and engine harness to relocate a few things from the MTX conversion, then it started to rain lol so I'll finish it up tomorrow along with the rotors/pads then off to the alignment shop around 2!-Jack

yea I know the rears swap over without an issue, but the fronts don't apparently work due to caliper differences, doesn't matter anyways tho lol got rotors/pads this morning.
Anyways, went to get the car aligned today, and they came out to say "we stripped your inner and outter tie rod threads" so I said thanks for nothing, called a tow truck and left. They originally wanted to charge me for the alignment, I said no, then they wanted 30 mins of labour, I said I will give you $20 to pull my car out before the tow truck gets here LOL
Soooo needless to say I have some work to do tomorrow on top of the other misc crap I have to do still...also found out the clutch master is leaking at the fitting that brings fluid over from the brake resevoir...UGH so more parts...yay...was only hoping to spend like $300ish to get the car going, but that went out the window today lol...add another $200 now!-Jack

Well the parts store didn't order the parts in last night, so needless to say they're not here today! woohoo lol...oh well, figure I can at least attack the rear brakes and get them buttoned up and parking brake working again...hoping the calipers are good and don't need replacing...but time will tell lol if so I'll get some P5 calipers so I can reap the benefit of an OEM return spring for the parking brake mechanism lol.-Jack

me and scoot (the pile) were out in my 626 on sunday heading to the local junkyard, and the car seemed to be slower then usual. came up to a stop, and i smelled brakes. look in my passenger mirror, and see smoke coming off my passenger rear. 'damn these ****ty stock brakes'. i need to get off my butt and re-do my brakes also man. now im just not using the ebrake at all till i finally replace them. lol~PaTricK~

yea I had that happen to me too a few times. Luckily it doesn't take much work to pop a tire off and smack the mechanism back where it's supposed to be.
I think the culprit MAYBE too tight of an adjustment at the hand brake...could cause the mechanism to travel further than normal?
Either way, got the left tie rod assembly off the car without major issues, guess I get to go back to the place that broke my car to showboat lol, also got the front brakes installed with freshly painted spindles (pulled them off lol) caliper brackets, and calilpers looks real nice now if you ask me (compared to previous) I'll post a pic of the one corner in a bit.-Jack
