cumfy to me means some side bolsters which the 626 seats lack any real one's. and i drive to crazy to not have them.
the best part of the swap is they bolt right in. and the rails sit about 4 inch's lower. so you could be like 7 foot tall, and still have head room. im 6 foot even and have a crap load of head room now.~PaTricK~

nice lol I was staring at those seats for about 5 minutes trying to find the differences asides the color and "M edition" logo. Those seats look almost identical in the pics, neat they the seat sits lower on the rail tho! my 626 has the power drivers seat so I can adjust the height lol-Jack

they are identical. ones from a M edition mx6, and the other is from a normal mx6. the colors arent that different, its just ones in the shadow so it looks goofy in the pic.
the mx6 seat has height adjustment also. it has all the same adjustments as the power 626 seats do.
these were my stock seats. they were spotless. so it was a hard choice to yank them out for leather. but i need to roll in style. lol.
if you compare the pics, you can see really how much more supportive the mx6 seats are. much larger bolsters, even the butt cushion holds you much better. which i need after upgrading my rear sway, putting the lowering springs in, my front and rear strut tower bars. my son is getting really good at holding on to his baby seat around corners. lol~PaTricK~

ya I don't think I drank enough coffee lol, I didn't realize they were both mx-6 seats, thought the passengers was 626 lol...ahhhhhh durrrrrrrr lol.
I agree with loving the MX-6 seats though, there was a black set I sat in at the wreckers, and they were almost PERFECT for me, even the passengers seat at the head rest tilt option lol. If they would fit in a BG, they'd be in there already, but alas, too wide-Jack

well Olive is back home! Went back with my gf and we fixed all the little issues up (clutch bleeding, rear exh leak, coolant leak) and she managed to drive home lol.
Since then I cut the atx shifter cable off and re-installed the interior...need a new shift boot and to turn my shifter 180 degrees lol pointing the wrong way!
Other than the wiring mess under the hood, she's driving real smooth, clutch has smooth engagement, no bad noises or clunks! she's feeling real good, better than the Protege haha that's for sure.
Protege is now in storage too, had to trade places.
Onto some pics!
626 & the gf's ZX2 (atx boo lol)

turned out good lol
...anyways, making a list for the 626
shift linkage bushings
battery relocation
service calipers and parking brake
alignment
stainless clutch line (pedals too soft for my liking lol)
cold air intake
raise idle to 750-800rpm (at 500 right now....)
install front strut brace
new leather shift boot
short shifter
figure out how to aim the damn headlights!
this is all the stuff I plan on doing in the next couple of months...some take priority over others obviously and will be addressed sooner than later.Last edited by Mazda_Powered; 09-01-2011, 11:27 PM.-Jack
