Doesn't the cruise unit need to circulate the vacuum back and forth to move the diaphragm to regulate speed though? I would think a check valve would stop that and cause some odd issues lol who knows tho

Fair enough, although I'm sure accelerating with cruise would spool :D hahaha
Anyways it's just more hassle than I'd like really. If I somehow found a +90 F2T donor car on the cheap, I'd definitely go that route over this, but I doubt I'd find one for the amount of $$ I'd have to spend with what I've found lol.-Jack

Well I think Jason (IMACHU2) has helped figure out how to execute the 626 lol.
I'm still going to get that F2T stuff from that 89 ATX 626 relatively soon, but I'm going to hold off afterwards until I can find a full +90 F2T car, and use it for a complete swap. Just seen a 90 MX6 GT for $900, but don't have the cash for it now, so I'm certain to find one for under a grand that runs and isn't automatic once I part the BG out.
I'm hoping I can re-cooperate enough money back from the future parts car that it'll cover my clutch kit, and little misc things I need to freshen up everything for the conversion.
I figure I'll then have a spare F2T to overhaul for a few $100 over the course of next winter.-Jack

Well everything for my random intake pipe replacement showed up today lol
Going to test fit for length this weekend and drill out the vacuum source
Might end up modifying the air box a bit though, didn't realize the inlet was only around 2", the coupler that connected it to the fender snorkel/resonator is like 3" LOL was definitely a sloppy fit, so I pulled it off for now.-Jack

Well the exhaust leak is getting worse lol ordered a 2.25" mandrel tubing kit from www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com and hopefully that'll show up around the same time as my new front pipe...damn system is going to be around $450 since I'm having a shop install/weld everything lol.
Hopefully it sounds good, and doesn't leak afterwards haha.-Jack

nah, I can't really afford the bump to stainless with the amount this system is going to cost me haha.
$200 shipped for the tubing kit
$90 shipped for the front pipe
$14 front pipe gaskets from Mazda
$75-100 for a Flowmaster muffler...still undecided if I should go with a 44 or a 50 series...50 series is $20 more but Flowmasters website says the 50 series will quieter all around (in and out of car).
$100-120 labour probably
I was originally going to get some SS mandrel U/J bends from work and have them make the system from that, but the labour and parts cost would exceed the cost of the tubing kit lol.
I should have opted to have the hangers pre-welded though, maybe I could have tackled the install myself with some extra hangers to mount the mufflers lol...maybe I'll msg them right now since it's being bent Monday.-Jack

This will be the hopeful outcome lol
I'll be using VDO cockpit gauges as they fit properly in a single DIN slot and they mount flush, plus they'll resemble the OE gauges!
