Well the banjo bolt snapped right off trying to tighten down the 5th set of washers that don't ****ing seal. Anyone have a banjo bolt and a set of crush washers? Or another solution for oil feed?

be sure the bolt hole is spotlessly clean of gunk. for both the oil & coolant plugs off the block. & don't tighten it so much.

If you're talking about the oil feed line block banjo bolt there's an alternative at just about any auto parts store. Look at the stickies in the FI section. It will cost you around 5 dollars and (from my personal experience) is stronger

Yep, got the bolt last night. Also I have some copper brake caliper washers that match the size of the banjo bolt. Will they work, or is the washer supposed to be bigger then the bolt head? Not sure how they seal.

Also, the BOV has 2 vacuum spots, where are they supposed to connect to?

Car runs smooth aside from the shooting oil from the block thing... lol

aaaaand for some reason wouldnt start unless I put a screwdriver in the vaf to hold it open... wont start when its all connected with a filter connected. Ill look into that more once it will hold oil.

Its alive! And holds oil! Muahahaa...

The boost gauge shows 20 vac while running. If I give it any gas, itll die. Is this only because the intake/vaf is not connected to the turbo? Does anyone know the inlet size of the vj20?

yeah the vaf has a switch inside that turns on the fuel pump... it needs to be hooked up in order for the thing to run properly

lucky for you i have a cracked VJ20 compressor housing as a pen holder and a caliper in my desk here at work... it is 1.810 inches OD

Arg, thats prolly why the 2" t-bolt clamp wont sit tight on it. lol I need something for a turbo inlet pipe, mines not working very well.

I notice a lot of people use an elbow off the turbo to go up over the other intercooler piping so the VAF will sit flat... thats what I need. =\

Is the 20 vac while running supposed to be like that?

                              Comment

yeah mine idles right at -20

the vaf does need to sit flat, gravity messes with it if you mount it at an angle

see if you can find an 1 3/4" coupler
