Glad you liked it. Everybody has a huge signature in their posts but nobody puts their name. It be easier to remember names as well as easier to recognize who is who online if everybody put a name into their signature like i did. first name is fine, no last name needed. so how about it intense?

uhm, no chito, this is exactly what I don't want is a group of strangers. this whole point is to bring people together to enjoy each other's company, to help each other, to care for each other and for people to be friends and come together even after they get rid of their pro. you are missing the point of the club chito.

very true dima. Even though I have been severly slacking with the meets, I feel the same. It is cool to chill with the members even outside of events. Like I ran into Vlad down on Los Olas Blvd, andwe chilled for a little bit. I am sure I was in rough shape, but it was cool to chill nonetheless. I gotta get my ass to the next meet. Where is it gonna be again??

I had a BLAST at the meet..... even though it was like 5 degrees with windchill!!
I counted 24 cars (a record maybe?) plus about 10 regulars were not able to make it.... I was glad to meet many new people and we aquired a few new members. Welcome to you all!

I have to say I was very, very impressed with how things ran. I hope everyone likes our "new" spot for the Last-Friday-of-the-Month meets that we have ALLL to ourselves!
Even though we had to pay for parking, I think it was well worth the $1/car for a safe environment for us & our families to hang out in, and for our beloved Mazdas to be parked in for about 4 hours. Notice how little craziness we had since no one was able to drive up and down through our row.

Sid (the Tower Shops Parking Official) said he was very impressed with how our club conducted itself which is very, very positive for our future. He said that if anyone uninvited ever has a problem with our "private" parking lot, to send them to me or straight to him and he'll deal with them. So hopefully we'll be reusing this spot time and time again for many more successful meets to come.

Here are some tentative dates & meet topics for your calendars:
*Friday, March 26: 5pm-10pm: Nominations and self-nominations for President, V.P. & Treasurer positions of the club will be taken (members only). Also, names will be taken of anyone interested in attending the NOPI 2004 Supershow in Atlanta in September.
*Friday, April 30: 5pm-10pm: Secret votes for President, V.P. & Treasurer positions of the club will be cast (only members are allowed to vote and be elected)
*Friday, May 28: 5pm-10pm: NEW President, V.P. & Treasurer positions will be announced! Also we'll start to take deposits for the NOPI 2004 trip.
              *Friday, June 25: 5pm-10pm: TBA

              Regards,
              Vlad

Man, I wish I could make it to one of these meets. For me, it'd be a 10 hour drive at least.

                  Nice pictures by the way.

It was fun to go to NOPI last year since I had never gone, but I had more fun at the statewide meet & that was a mere 15 minute drive. For every 20 cars you see at NOPI, only about 1 is actually tasteful & worth looking at. I'm not going to GA again unless it's to visit my friend there.
