[RANT] Will you people stop referring to the msp as "godly" it's not. We know it's not. We all drive mazda's and should share our enthusiasm rather than bashing each others cars. will a worked 1G or 3G kick my MSP's ass. YES IT WILL. is my MSP "godly" NO it is not. do I lovemy car the same. yes I do, just as i respect all Pro's I see on the road. I park by a 3G LX and a 1G LX. I walk out every morning and check them out. I love the 1G's for their light stiff chassis and tuning capability. I love the 2G's for their curves, and the 3Gs for their smooth lines.

And no one is an "asshole" for relaying correct information. It is greatly appreciated. Some people just word corrections as if to put the incorrect person down. This is a"COMMUNITY" I love this forums because of it sense of "COMMUNITY" and when **** like this thread happens though it lowers us to the same level as every other flaming car forum on the web. I had stopped using car forums about 3 years ago do to this kind of constant ****. Then I found ClubP and was impressed with the wealth of knowledge that is avaialable here along with the personalities of the people who parlayed the knowledge. It is sad that in a "MAZDA COMMUNITY" where we all share enthusiasm for a like product that this pissing contest of whos's is better happens.

Also it disheartens me to see correct information being given in a "Hey dumbass I'm right, your wrong " format. It would be just as easy to put your ego (or whatever your driving factor is) aside and word things in a "that information is incorrect, let me show you the correct way" format.

and i could get a brand new regular sedan for $12k out the door, which leaves me with $6,900 to make it better than the msp. hmmm, aftermarket turbo with more boost and a more advanced control system, my choice in suspension, aftermarket lsd, new axles, new clutch, new fly wheel, and a system that would blow away the msp system? yeah, that's feasible, since i do my own work so i'd have a faster car, a better handling car, and a better sounding car for the same price?

Does that regular sedan come painted in Titanium Gray Metallic? I think that right there throws your stupid ass price estimate out the window. I also used the price that I paid for my car in the example, but a LOT of people on MSProtege got their cars brand new for 16.5 out the door.

I could just as easily have used Spicy Orange in that example, but I'm sure you'd say you don't like that either, so it wouldn't matter. The point is that you can't get it on a normal sedan, which means the worthless argument belongs to you.
