sorry, if you read my update on my actual forsale post, i have found out that we have enough money as is, i still needed to part with the lxe because it needed alot of work which ment a bunch of money i didnt want to spend... but because of the fact i dont need the money im no longer pushing to get rid of it for whatever someone will give me... im asking 2500 for the turbo kit and its now firm... if it doesnt sell ill have everything i need to make another race car when we come back from alaska... of it does sell we will just have that much more money in the bank.... as you might be able to assume, im hoping it doesnt sell so i have an excuse to keep it BUT if i had someone with cash in hand its theirs.

Well took the car to the shop yesterday and they told me that it was, you will never believe this, but yea it is the alternator. Now I guess I have bad luck with them cause I have gone through 2 that apparently arent good. Guy said it was only putting out 12 volts. Not exactly sure what it is supposed to put out. But I guess come Monday I will be getting another one. Wish me luck.

It's supposed to put out about 14 Volts while charging.

hmm... well it wasnt to far off then. I hope that this time it will fix it. That way I can get some mods done to it.

it may have just been the voltage regulator, i would imagin if the alternator were bad your car would die, but if its constantly charging at 12v then i would thing the voltage regulator is regulating the wrong voltage... i may be wrong, and no worrys they would still need to replace the alternator.

well, they need to replace the alternator cuz most voltage regulators are built into the alternator.

Back in Business

Well I finally got her fixed. Took her in and now she has a clean bill of health, with the exception of needing a SERIOUS bath. Now I am officially ready to start modding. Just have to figure out what I want to do first.

So are you moving down here? I have a 850 sqft shop if you need to get any work done! I think I'm going to have a build meet at my house next month or early Oct.

Not quite sure what I am doing yet, But I would definately be up to a meet down there. I know people I can stay with out there also. Keep me updated on what you are planning.


P.S. I think a friend of mine saw you driving down there a couple weeks ago.
