2007 Saturn Sky / Aura (sedan)

Yes, this is a Saturn. Saturn is changing its brand image amongst GM, and this is where its going to start. I think these two models are very good looking, and time will tell how good they will sell and how reliable they will be. BTW, Sky is essentially the same thing as Pontiac Solstice, which I can only will be officially announced sometime this year, but both will be produced at the same time. Saturn Aura is essentially the same as Cobalt/G6/Opel Vectra, and so far, it looks decent.

Engine in Sky is either 2.2 or 2.4 Ecotec 4 banger.

Of course saturn takes credit for all the "german engineering"... sigh... just call it an Opel and get it over with... definitely and Ecotec

I don't like the rims on the sedan thing, but they're pretty snazzy.

                Interesting... now if it was...
                2.4l turbo
                RWD/w/5spd
                under $20,000
                etc...

then the SRT-4 might have some competition

yeah the conv. looks sweet, the sedan is kinda bulky (not my type). Still just one little problem.... its a saturn. I can hardly imagine myself driving a saturn. Just like a kia, huyndai or suzuki for htat matter... no matter how good their cars are, i just can't imagine driving one. You know what i mean.

and another interresting thing i noticed while being at an autoshow beginning of this year. You can't make money out of nothing. You go sit in a toyota (avalon, but it was some luxury edition ~$32K) and you get all the comfortability you may want. Then you go sit in an infiniti (G35 4 door) and it doesnt feel as good on the inside, yet you get the 4wd and 50 more hp.

If that thing will cost 20K being a convertible with such exterior design and fairly decent performance, i can hardly imagine what it will feel on the inside. For example, i'm already not digging the flat driver side door - no room for my ankles

If it handles well, it'll be way more fun than an srt4. Who needs all that power with lovely rwd?

I don't really follow the GM scene that much, but I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't turbo kits out for the ecotec to make them beastly.

The Aura looks like a G6. Quite frankly I'm tired of the US big 3 using the same cars in different divisions.

So...Saturn without the plastic...wouldn't that essentially be Pontiac?

They look pretty decent. I like the sky better though.

Does look a lot like an Opel though.

Just like I wouldn't buy a SRT cause it looks like a neon
a VW Bug cause it's just too girly
an Audi TT cause it looks like a squished bug
I doubt if I had money any of these cars would be on the top of my list.
