does anybody have any knowledge of doing this and how easy or hard it was? will be taking the engine out of a 93 escort gt.

take everything out of the EGT engine bay, and put it all into the Escort Wagon... including ECU, and harness..
WALLAH -
just take the whole EGT front clip and attach it to the wagon. lol94 Protege DX... A work in progress.

no. just get EVERYTHING out of the GT's engine bay.
and depending on the model of escort...you wont have to get the cluster...there are some wagons with a tach and all that good stuff, just remember that the 1.8's redline is 7000rpms1997 U-13 Nissan Altima

lemme know kuz im going to be putting a V6 into my escort GT, so everything in the engine would be out and just laying around...if you want anything, and wouldnt mind waiting till i get it out, i could get you lots of misc. parts for really cheap1997 U-13 Nissan Altima

but anyway...jitb37 has done crazy V6 swaps like 800 times so i dont he would find it that hard putting a 1.8 into a car that is designed to hold a 1.81997 U-13 Nissan Altima
