Just finishing a 1989 Toyota 4Runner 2.4 RH drive diesel w/5spd into a 1994 Toyota T-100 LH drive V-6 auto 4X4. Wiring is the worst; 150+ solder joints.

I have a 94 toyota truck. I would never ever consider trying to pull the engine out of it. Its so damn compact its not even funny. Props to you from somone who knows how bad that had to suck.

But you're right for sure; between the front suspension and deep inner fenders there's not an excess of room to work.

Yeh, that would clean a few of the diesel pigs as long as you could hook up! I've done a few unusual swaps and it's always the friggin wiring that screws me up. As long as you've got a few fab tools most swaps are just a matter of time. This one is at about 250 hrs. or so but that included making a RHD harness into a LHD harness, motor mounts, plus all the brackets for the diesel/trans.
Next one is dropping the 1.8/trans etc. into the 323 BEFORE it friggin snows but I think I got everything for it now.Comment
